News release:
07 Quest Success for Maryborough
07 Quest cemented the name Maryborough Park International Equestrian and Exhibition Centre permanently and vividly on the Australian map attracting thousands of enthusiasts to its 17-day equestrian extravaganza.
More than 40 renowned international and national presenters ran clinics, workshops and demonstrations on the full gamut of horse disciplines.
Averil Storey travelled to 07 Quest from Christmas Creek near Beaudesert with her reining quarter horse.
“This is incredibly progressive of the Maryborough Council to back something like this. They have done a great job with the way they are developing it,” she said. “Everyone enjoys coming to Maryborough because of the facilities.”
The park is already benefiting from Quest’s success with a rush of bookings and inquiries from organisations state-wide, keen to make the most of the park’s facilities and ideal location.
Maryborough City Council is now developing a master plan for Maryborough Park. User groups and other stakeholders have been consulted as a prelude to developing a strategy that will ensure it is used to its fullest potential. Maryborough Park is rapidly developing a reputation as an ideal venue for major equestrian events, concerts, state gatherings and festivals.
